Mesa Verde

After Arches we drove into Cortez Colorado where we spent the night in a hotel. The next morning we got up and drove into Mesa Verde! It started out overcast and cold by the mid morning the sun came out and it was absolutly beautiful!


All the kids finished the Junior Ranger program and were sworm in as Junior Rangers!

Here the kids are on the trail heading down into the ruins! They were awesome hikers! Of course they were watching for Lizards the whole time both Elina and Quinn wanted them as pets! Good thing the lizards were so quick, what would we have done with them for the rest of the trip if they had actually caught them!
